We wanted a sideboard to complement existing french walnut furniture. Griffin and Sinclair came to our home and took account of both the current furnishing and the size and nature of the proposed location. The proposed design was imaginative and attractive, and further refined following our feedback. We were, and remain. delighted with the result. We bought a table and 4 chairs and they were so good that we bought another table and 4 chairs, then a sideboard, then a desk, then a coffee table, then a hatstand, then some pot stands. We are ‘over the moon’ with our natural oak Avenir stools. We initially ordered two but subsequently found them so useful, stylish and strong that we went on to order another four. Griffin and Sinclair were an easy company to deal with, keeping us informed of progress and even rounded the corners of the stools at our request. I’ve included a photo in this review to show two of the stools being used as side tables. We have one in the hallway, to use while putting on shoes. Another is in the utility so I can reach high shelves and we use several as side table in places other than the lounge. For example, we have one in the kid’s bedroom for their night-time drinks. We have just received the small occasional/coffee table we ordered for the end of our sofa. We were able to slightly customise the unusual design shown on the website to have the table corners rounded off slightly, and are delighted with the result. It suits its spot very well and complements our existing furniture. Communication about the slight changes was excellent and the table was extremely well-packaged for delivery. We are delighted, and will certainly remember this company if we need any of its services again. Delivery was slightly late but we suspect this may have been down to the courier.
